Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ statement upon arrival at the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) (Brussels, 20.03.2023)

During the Council today, we will primarily discuss issues related to the continuous Russian aggression against Ukraine. President Putin's visit to Mariupol is certainly not helping the situation. Aside from that, we will have the opportunity to be briefed from Josep Borell about the significant success of the agreement between Belgrade and Pristina.

This is something in which Greece has invested a great deal. Finally, I'd like to inform you that I will meet with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, at 13:00.
