Minister of Higher Education, Science And Innovation, Dr Blade Nzimande media briefing to outline the post school education and training vaccination roll out plan

The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr Blade Nzimande, will brief the media on the COVID-19 vaccination roll out for the Post School Education and Training Sector (PSET).
The Post School Education and Training sector comprise of public universities, TVET and Community Education and Training (CET) colleges, private institutions, skills learning sector, Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO), National Skills Fund (NSF) with a range of skills development providers.
HIGHER HEALTH has developed a comprehensive vaccination strategy for the post school education and training sector in alignment with the Department of Health's national vaccination rollout plan.
HIGHER worked with all institutions in the sector to obtain data on staff per campus and their geographical locations across districts and sub-districts.
This assisted the Department of Health to conduct a national mapping process, secure vaccinations, identify vaccination points, number of vaccinators, as well as the logistics and distribution of the vaccine to the service points.
