Bar Harbor Spring Clean-up Program 2024

The Bar Harbor Public Works Department announces that residents may participate in the Spring Clean-Up program beginning in May. The Town Council has adopted a plan to assist residents who do not have the means of transporting their bulky wastes for disposal. Brush will NOT be accepted. Bar Harbor residents can pay for pick-up at the Finance Office at 93 Cottage Street, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM. There is a pick-up fee of $15.00 per item; pick-up of household appliances will also include a disposal fee (fee varies by size of appliance.) Office staff will forward resident's information to the Highway Division to schedule the pick-up. All items must be curb-side on the scheduled pick-up date. The available Monday dates are May 6, 13, 20 and June 3.

Request forms are available at the Finance Office, or may be printed from the link below and taken to the Town Office for payment. Instructions on how and where to leave items will be available at the time the appointment is made by the Highway Division.
