Route 3009 Lenity School Road Bridge Replacement Begins Monday in Westmoreland County

Uniontown, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that Route 3009 (Lenity School Road) between Patton Road and Route 3011 (Iron City Hill Road) is scheduled to close Monday, April 15, 9:00 AM, in Rostraver Township, Westmoreland County.

The closure is anticipated through late June depending on weather and operations.

A posted detour will be in place using:

• Route 3009 (Lenity School Road).
• Route 3015 (Turkey Hollow Road).
• Route 906.
• Route 3003 (Tyrol Boulevard).
• Route 3009 (Lenity School Road).

District 12 Westmoreland County maintenance department force bridge crew will be demolishing the existing bridge over Speers Run and replacing it with precast concrete pipe and inlet. Additional work includes drainage improvement, scour protection, and roadway widening. This project is a $325,000 infrastructure investment.
