Temporary closure of the Hockhocking-Adena Bikeway at Stimson Ave beginning approximately April 18th

The City of Athens announces the temporary closure of the Hockhocking-Adena Bikeway at Stimson Ave beginning approximately April 18^th, 2024 through early July. The purpose of this closure is to construct the new emergency and paddler-access point boat ramp to the Hocking River, as well as an adjacent outdoor fitness facility. This project will enhance both recreational opportunities and emergency services in Athens, and also improve community physical fitness. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
