A portion of the Beachway Multiuse Path (Path) adjacent to Andrée Clark Bird Refuge is temporarily closed starting Monday, April 15th for approximately one week at the intersection of Los Patos Way and Channel Drive due to the construction of utility relocations for the Cabrillo-Los Patos Roundabout Project (Project).

Pedestrian and bicycle traffic will not be accessible from the Bird Refuge parking lot to the Path at Los Patos Way and Channel Drive intersection with Cabrillo Boulevard, but Cabrillo Boulevard shoulders will be available to through bicycle traffic. A bicycle detour will be set up at the maintenance entrance at the Santa Barbara Zoo to detour bicycle traffic to the shoulder. This is the only temporary Path closure during the duration of the Project. The Path will be restored for bicyclists and pedestrians by Monday, April 22nd.

The Path portion along Cabrillo Boulevard south of Los Patos Way and Channel Drive will remain open.

Una porción del sendero multiuso de la playa adyacente al refugio de aves Andrée Clark se cerrará temporalmente a partir del lunes 15 de abril durante aproximadamente una semana en la intersección de Los Patos Way y Channel Drive debido a la construcción de reubicaciones de servicios públicos para el Proyecto de Rotonda Cabrillo-Los Patos.

El tráfico peatonal y ciclista no será accesible desde el estacionamiento del refugio de aves hasta el camino en la intersección de Los Patos Way y Channel Drive con Cabrillo Boulevard, pero los arcenes de Cabrillo Boulevard estarán disponibles para el tráfico ciclista de paso.
