Recreational Vehicle Parking Permit Reminder for Holiday Travelers and Visitors

Residents are reminded to use free recreational vehicle parking permits as they prepare for holiday travel. Temporary parking for recreational vehicles, such as boats, motorhomes, toy/travel trailers, is permitted for up to 14 days per year on the driveway of a residential property. Temporary recreational vehicle parking permits are required for any vehicles stored for more than 24-hours on private property. For safety reasons, vehicles cannot obstruct or overhang public sidewalks or streets, and cannot be used for habitation at any time. You can obtain a permit by contacting the Community Improvement Division at (909) 399-5467. Recreational vehicles parked on public streets will require an overnight parking permit. You can obtain an overnight street parking permit by contacting the Claremont Police Department at (909) 399-5411, or by visiting this link.
