Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament visits Sweden

The Speaker Andreas Norlén will receive the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk at the Riksdag during his official visit to Sweden on 20-23 May. At the Riksdag, Ruslan Stefanchuk will speak in the former Second Chamber. The event in the former Second Chamber is open to invited guests and the media, space permitting.

"A number of decisions to provide military, humanitarian and economic support to Ukraine have been taken with broad political consensus in the Chamber, and I look forward to welcoming my Ukrainian counterpart with delegation to us at the Riksdag", says the Speaker Andreas Norlén.

During the visit of the Ukrainian delegation, Andreas Norlén will, among other things, host a number of meetings and a dinner in the evening. In addition, First Deputy Speaker Kenneth G Forslund will host a lunch with members of the Swedish delegations to the OSCE and PACE, and from the Swedish-Ukrainian friendship group.

In addition to the programme at the Riksdag, the Ukrainian delegation has an audience with King Carl XVI Gustaf and a meeting with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Minister for EU Affairs Jessika Roswall.
