Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge Jumper

PRESS RELEASE

On April 1, 2024, the New York State Police responded to the Kingston-Rhineciff Bridge for a report of a jumper.

Investigation determined Dawn Stackhouse, Age 52, of Beekman, NY, jumped from the bridge at approximately 9:50 a.m. Good Samaritans fishing near the bridge removed her from the water and attempted life saving measures. She was transported to a local area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

This investigation remains ongoing. There are no signs of foul play at this time.
