Hull City Council is proud to once again be a main sponsor of The Business Day and will be showcasing some of its latest attractions from Hull Adventure Centre.

The annual event, held at Bridlington Spa, is an inspirational day with guest speakers, breakout sessions and networking with some of the region's biggest business leaders.

Hull City Council is a long-time sponsor of The Business Day which will be hosted by Gyles Brandreth and will see ABBA founding member, Bjorn Ulvaeus, as its keynote speaker.

Members of the council's Invest Hull and regeneration teams will be in attendance, sharing plans for its Skills Bootcamps and brand-new Hull Adventure Centre.

Hull Adventure Centre opened in the spring and features bubble ball football, tag archery and dodgeball, which were all introduced as the centre opened, coinciding with Hull Karting's 20th anniversary.

The Skills Bootcamps are intensive, flexible training courses designed to ensure people of Hull are ready to return to work or, change career paths, with a guaranteed job interview at the end of their training.

"It is one of the main events in the regional business calendar and a fantastic opportunity for the council to share our great work, hear about others' and make new connections. I am looking forward to attending."
