CalBank Plc Donates to Two Orphanages in Accra

As part of its corporate social initiatives, CalBank Plc made cash donations on Friday, January 3, 2025, to two orphanages in Accra: Echoing Hills Village, Ghana, and The Street Academy.

The Chief Risk Officer of CalBank, Mr. Sadick Arthur, presented the donations to the coordinators of the orphanages, emphasizing the Bank's unwavering commitment to creating a better and more confident future for all, including generations to come.

In his remarks, Mr. Arthur commended the management of the orphanages for their impactful work and reaffirmed CalBank's ongoing support.


"We commend the incredible work you are doing to care for and support these children. This donation is a token of our appreciation and a demonstration of our belief that these resources will contribute to protecting and nurturing these young ones," he said.

Speaking on behalf of Echoing Hills Village and The Street Academy, Rev. Okyere and Mr. Ataa Lartey, respectively, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the management of CalBank for their thoughtful support.

"We are deeply thankful to CalBank for choosing us among the many orphanages in Ghana, particularly in Accra, to benefit from this generous gesture. Our hearts are filled with immense joy, and we pray that God continues to bless and uplift your organization," they remarked.

This initiative highlights CalBank's commitment to empowering vulnerable communities and driving positive change through meaningful social interventions.

Also in attendance at the brief ceremony were Mr. Kofi Siabi, Head of Marketing at CalBank, and Mr. Peter Hall, Events, PR, and Sponsorship Officer at CalBank.
