Safe Harbor of Chester County, the Charles A Melton Arts & Education Center and Two Fish and Five Loaves Cafe, Inc. (501c3) are delighted to announce a transformative partnership to expand and revitalize a community garden at the Melton Center in West Chester. This collaborative endeavor aims to cultivate sustainable practices, community engagement, and holistic well-being.

The Charles A Melton Arts & Education Center, recognizing the importance of community initiatives, graciously will provide the land, existing community garden and dedicated garden manager to support the project. Two Fish and Five Loaves Community Cafe will facilitate the relationship by offering the chef's services including culinary expertise, nutritional and cooking classes and charitable meals to Safe Harbor.

  • Providing access to the land and existing resources.
  • Garden manager to oversee operations.

  • Installation and expansion of new fencing.

  • Acquisition of a garden shed and supplies.
  • Acquisition of a mushroom shed to diversify produce offerings.
  • Establishment of a mobile greenhouse for year-round utilization.
