Ann-Kristin Stetefeld from Baden-Württembergische Bank, Dominik Asam from SAP SE and Dr. Dirk Elvermann from BASF SE are new members of the ZEW Sponsors' Association Board.

Ann-Kristin Stetefeld from BW Bank, Dominik Asam from SAP SE and Dr. Dirk Elvermann from BASF SE have been appointed to the board of the ZEW Sponsors' Association for Science and Practice.

Asam has been a member of the executive board of SAP SE since March this year and, as Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the finance and administrative areas of the software company. At the beginning of this month, Dr. Elvermann joined BASF as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Digital Officer.

Dr. Ralph Rheinboldt, chairman of the ZEW Sponsors' Association, emphasizes: "For our dialogue with ZEW, it is important to receive continuous input from the business community. The recent addition of three new members, each with extensive international professional experience, enriches our board and strengthens our exchange."

The ZEW Sponsors' Association provides funding for practice-relevant research projects, supports the organisation of ZEW lecture series with top-level speakers from the areas of politics, business and academia, and sponsors prizes for excellent scientific work and policy advice. Its approximately 140 members include large and medium-sized companies as well as private individuals, who are convinced of the need for a strong economic research institute in Baden-Württemberg and are committed to this goal.
