Man Injured After Being Robbed and Shot Downtown

Police are investigating after a man was shot during a robbery Downtown Seattle Saturday morning.

At 11:43 a.m., officers responded to a report of a male shot near the intersection of 12th Avenue South and South King Street. Officers arrived and located an adult male with a graze wound to the arm. The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

The victim stated he was on the sidewalk when the male suspect grabbed cash from his hand and walked away. When the victim began to chase the suspect, the male produced a gun and fired one round at the victim.

Police collected evidence from the scene and located property damage to a vacant building.
