Indiana, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing upcoming secondary road work in Armstrong County starting today, May 13, 2024.
May 13 through the end of September, mill and fill patching, paving and resurfacing to various routes and other miscellaneous construction will be performed on multiple secondary routes in Armstrong County.
Work will be Monday through Friday during daylight hours. Work is weather dependent.
Upcoming routes include the following:
This is the continuation of a 2-year, $10 million investment in the secondary road infrastructure of Armstrong County advocated by Senator Pittman. The State Routes include 37.7 miles in Burrell, Kittanning, Manor, Plum Creek, South Bend and Bethel Townships.
Derry Construction Company, Inc., of Latrobe is completing this $6.4 million project, including $5.2 million for the roads mentioned and $1.2 million for base repair patching on other state highways in east central Armstrong County.
