Visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Viet Nam Vahram Kazhoyan to Ho Chi Minh Museum and meeting with the Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum Vu Manh Ha.

Vahram Kazhoyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, paid a visit to Ho Chi Minh Museum and had a meeting with Mr. Vu Manh Ha, Director of the Museum to present the photo of President Ho Chi Minh's arrival in Yerevan, Armenia, on his official visit to Armenia, on 21-23 July, 1959, on October 13, 2023.

Ambassador Kazhoyan thanked the Director for organizing the meeting and told about the process of finding the rare photos, documenting President Ho Chi Minh's visit to Armenia. Ambassador revealed many interesting stories behind these photos. The Embassy of Armenia to Viet Nam has received President Ho Chi Minh's photos from the Armenian National Archive's Photo and Video Materials Department and Yerevan History Museum.

Ambassador also mentioned how important is to visit Ho Chi Minh Museum in order to understand Viet Nam, country's history and its people's struggles for independence and freedom.

Ambassador Kazhoyan mentioned that a well-known novel "Call of Ploughmen" by famous Armenian writer Khachik Dashtents, has been recently translated into Vietnamese. The choice of the book was connected also with the fact that the author's family have met with President Ho Chi Minh at the summer resort of the Armenian Writers' Union near Lake Sevan, on July 22, 1959.

Mr. Vu highly appreciated Ambassador's sincere feelings towards President Ho Chi Minh. The Director also highlighted Armenia's contributions to Viet Nam during its struggles against French colonial rule and American aggression, as well as Armenia's support in country's reconstruction and renewal process of Viet Nam. Director Vu expressed hope to deepen the cooperation between Ho Chi Minh Museum and Museums in Armenia in the coming time.

Mrs. Valia Kazhoyan, Spouse of the Ambassador of Armenia and Ms. Tam Nguyen, assistant to the Ambassador, and from Vietnamese side, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Head of the Collection Department, Ms. Le Thi Lanh, Head of the Inventory and Preservation Department, Mr. Dao Tuan Anh, Head of the Communication Department and Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang, Head of the Professional Guidance Department participated in the meeting.
