Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo met with the Dzongkhag and Gewog Officials of Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag.

15 April 2024: Upon returning from Jomotshangkha Dungkhag, Hon'ble Sanam Lyonpo met with the Dzongkhag and Gewog Officials of Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag.

The Dzongkhag Livestock Officer, on behalf of the Dzongkhag and Gewog Livestock Sector, thanked Hon'ble Sanam Lyonpo for visiting the Dzongkhag and Gewogs after resuming the very important post of Agriculture and Livestock Minister. DLO shared brief updates along with the plans and challenges of the MoAL officials. He also put forward some concerns and requested that Hon'ble Sanam Lyonpo support their recommendations and requests.

The Dzongkhag Agriculture Officer thanked Lyonpo for shouldering the responsibility of the Ministry and also shared some of his ideas that could help the second-highest poverty-stricken Dzongkhag improve the livelihood of people in the district.

Hon'ble Sanam Lyonpo thanked the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Dzongkhag, and Gewog officials for their kind words and warm welcome. The Hon'ble Sanam Lyonpo appreciated and thanked the officials for their hard work and dedication despite several challenges and difficulties. The Hon'ble Sanam Lyonpo assured to look into their submissions and requests once back in Thimphu. Lyonpo urged all officials to give their best when they are in their current positions.
