PEI RCMP arrest Nova Scotia man for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking

PEI RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section arrested a 29-year-old man from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia following a targeted traffic stop.

On April 17, 2024, PEI RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section, with the assistance from Kings District RCMP, and PEI RCMP Police Dog Services, arrested an occupant of a motor vehicle following a targeted traffic stop in the Island community of Morell. This stop resulted in RCMP seizing approximately 60 grams of suspected cocaine and a motor vehicle, which was being used in the commission of the offence.
