Lane restrictions on Ninth Concession Road/Myrtle Road in Pickering and Whitby

Whitby, Ontario - The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Ninth Concession Road/Myrtle Road (Regional Road 5) in the City of Pickering and Town of Whitby.

When: April 30 to May 24. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Lane restrictions will be in place daily on Ninth Concession Road/Myrtle Road, from 740 metres west of Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) to 465 metres east of Lake Ridge Road, in Pickering and Whitby.

Why: The lane restrictions will be in place for the installation of paved shoulders.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
