The Ministry of Foreign Affairs protested the unauthorised entry to Estonian territorial waters of an Iranian warship

Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs handed over a diplomatic note to Ahmad Haji Hosseini, interim chargé d'affaires of Iran in Helsinki, regarding the unauthorised entry to Estonian territorial waters of the Iranian warship Sahand on 23 July.

From Estonia's point of view, this violation is unacceptable. It is a regrettable occurrence that will hopefully not happen again.
