Item 8.01 Other Events.

On October 14, 2021, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company ("Hewlett Packard Enterprise") announced that it will redeem all $1 billion aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 4.650% Notes due 2024, CUSIP Number: 42824C BF5 (the "Notes"), on October 29, 2021 (the "Redemption Date"). The Notes will be redeemed at a redemption price equal to 100% of the principal amount of the Notes to be redeemed, plus a "make-whole" premium determined pursuant to the terms of the indenture governing the Notes and accrued and unpaid interest to, but not including, the Redemption Date.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise has instructed The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A., as the trustee for the Notes, to distribute a notice of redemption to all registered holders of the Notes on October 14, 2021. Copies of such notice of redemption and additional information relating to the procedure for redemption of the Notes may be obtained from The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A.
