Readout of Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Dr. Colin Kahl’s Meeting With Davor Bozinovic, Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia

Department of Defense Spokesman Lt. Col. David Herndon provided the following readout:

Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Dr. Colin Kahl met with Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Davor Bozinovic at the Pentagon, April 18.

The two leaders discussed the United States and Croatia's shared commitment to the security and stability of Europe, and national and NATO support responsibilities. Dr. Kahl expressed the Department's appreciation for Croatia's wide-ranging support of Ukraine, in both the civilian and military realms. The leaders also discussed regional issues relating to the Western Balkans, an area of critical importance to both nations.
