Hurricane Debby continues to cause major flight disruptions for passengers traveling to and from Florida. Tampa International Airport remains open and operational, but periods of high winds, heavy rains and lightning can cause pauses in TPA's flight operations.
Due to Hurricane Debby, FAA delay programs are in effect again today across the state, impacting air space traffic over the Southeast. Delays and cancellations are expected to increase throughout the day.
Passengers are urged to stay in close contact with their airline for the latest information about their flight status.
