Country Presentation – Tajikistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in cooperation with ICE Agenzia, organises the "Country Presentation" dedicated to Tajikistan.

The event will be held on 24 April 2024, from 10.00 a.m. (registration of participants starts at 9.30 a.m.), at the headquarters of ICE Agenzia (Via Liszt 21, Rome).

The initiative aims to illustrate to trade associations and Italian companies the opportunities offered by the Tajik market thanks to a positive trend in trade; a strategic geographical position; the availability of natural resources and the role of regional energy centre.

The "Country Presentation" will begin with an institutional session, followed by presentations of trade, industrial partnership and investment opportunities between the two countries by representatives of the relevant Tajik Ministries. The focus will be on the following sectors: 1) Mining, Textile, Leather and Food; 2) Energy; 3) Agriculture. On the Italian side, speeches by ICE, CDP, SACE and SIMEST and testimonies by Italian companies already present in Tajikistan are planned.

At the end of the event there will be the possibility of B2G meetings with Tajik institutional representatives, as well as BtoB meetings with selected Tajik companies.

The working languages will be Italian and Russian with simultaneous translation.
