State Route 82 Rehabilitation Pavement Project: Sidewalk and curb ramps closed on Northbound State Route 82 El Camino Real at Embarcadero Rd. and between Encina Ave. and Medical Foundation Drive in Palo Alto

Santa Clara County ― Caltrans crews will continue to work on northbound State Route 82/EL Camino Real (SR-82/ECR) as a part of the SR-82 Rehabilitation Pavement Project at Embarcadero Road and between Encina Ave. and Medical Foundation Drive in the city of Palo Alto. Theovernight work will begin on Monday, May 6 to Friday, May 10starting at 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, the following morning.

Construction activities will include removing and replacing concrete at driveways, sidewalks, and ADA ramps to improve the existing infrastructure on SR-82. The work will be conducted overnight which may cause some noise in the area.

Residents and the traveling public will have limited and/or restricted access to sidewalks, curb ramps and several driveways while this work is taking place.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time when traveling.
