Gosar Fights for Veterans' Suffering From TBI
This week, I signed a bipartisan letter to the members of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies requesting the inclusion of language ensuring adequate care for veterans suffering from deployment-related severe traumatic brain injuries (TBI) who require long-term residential care. Thousands of veterans are diagnosed with severe TBI and the Veterans Affairs (VA) needs to do more to address the difficulties meeting veterans' long-term care needs. The longstanding need for adequate long-term specialty care for veterans with TBI cannot be understated. Our veterans deserve the finest medical care our country can provide and I am committed to working on behalf of all of veterans so that they receive the care they desperately need and deserve. Sick, Sick, Sick: Biden Allows Men in Women's Lockers and Bathrooms
The Fake News has largely ignored a new Biden administration ruleannounced late last week allowing biological men to enter women's locker rooms and bathrooms. That's why you must read the Gosar Newsletter every week, it's the only way to stay informed and read what the Fake News fails to report on.
The new regulations include elementary and secondary schools and take effect August 1st. Schools that refuse to enforce these sickening new rules will see their federal funding eliminated.
It should be obvious to anyone with a brain that allowing biological males into females' bathrooms and locker rooms violates the privacy and safety of females. It should also be obvious to anyone with a brain that females should be able to shower or use the bathroom without fear of being watched, harassed or sexually assaulted.
If you think I am being extreme, think again. Let me remind everyone of this violent attack a few years ago in Northern Virginia of a teenage female student who was sexually assaulted in a bathroom by a male student wearing a skirt.
Females should have the right to feel safe and protected in spaces where they are vulnerable, such as locker rooms. Yet, with this new rule, Biden's message to women is clear: you have zero safe spaces. Next up on the Biden Administration's chopping block? Women's sports. Traditional values be damned.
Biden's Latest Amnesty Scam: Married Illegals!
Here's another story you will likely only read about in the Gosar Newsletter: this week we learned that Joe Biden is preparing an executive order granting amnesty to more than a million illegal immigrants who married Americans. It's true. These are individuals who have been previously denied a green card, likely because they entered our country illegally or used forged documents. However, under Biden's amnesty plan, 1.1 million illegal aliens would be given a work permit and pathway to citizenship simply for marrying a U.S. citizen.Want to guess when Biden plans to enact this? Just before the 2024 November presidential election. Biden needs all the illegal alien voters he can get! The steal is on!
Out of curiosity, I wonder if Prince Harry is following Biden's latest mass amnesty scam? IYKYK!
Trial of Arizona Rancher Ends in Mistrial
You may recall last year I wrote aboutthe case of George Kelly, a rancher from Arizona arrested for shooting an illegal alien on his property. Mr. Kelly was minding his own business and having lunch with his wife when a group of lawbreakers, dressed in camouflage, carrying large backpacks, and armed with AK-47s trespassed onto his property. Feeling threatened and wanting to protect his elderly wife, Mr. Kelly was forced to shoot the invader.Despite what appeared to have been a classic case of self-defense and "standing your ground," in Joe Biden's messed up world, Mr. Kelly was arrested and charged with murder.
This week, Mr. Kelly's trial ended in a mistrial as jurists were unable to reach a verdict. His attorney argued that Mr. Kelly was "in a life-or-death situation," and when "confronted with a threat right outside his home, he would have been absolutely justified to use deadly force." According to news reports, a lone holdout blocked Mr. Kelly from being completely acquitted.Click here to read more about this case.

National Public Radio has been in the news in recent days. When budget discussions begin, will you please consider de-funding this line item? NPR can fundraise and sell commercial advertising to survive. With all the options available to people, including Satellite radio, there is no need for the government to pay for an entertainment instrument that spews hate to Americans.
✍ Michael, I have serious concerns about forcing taxpayers to fund public broadcasting, particularly when the views often expressed reflect the liberal bias prevalent in Washington, DC. Sadly, programs such as PBS, NPR, Pacifica Radio and American Public Media all skew unquestionably to the left. In March 2011, I joined my colleagues in passing a bill to defund NPR. That bill died in the Senate and was killed by Harry Reid. In March 2020, I also called for defunding of NPR. I have co sponsored bills since 2011 to defund this useless waste of money. It's long past time that Congress stopped using taxpayers' dollars to subsidize NPR.

✍ Denise, as I noted last week, my decision to cosponsor the motion vacate was not done lightly. Unfortunately, under Speaker Johnson's watch, the House passed two fiscally reckless consolidated appropriations bills, reauthorized the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) without an amendment to prevent warrantless searches of Americans, and approved of $61 billion to further draw America into an endless and purposeless war in Ukraine. Congress cannot continue to turn a blind eye to the consequences of Biden's disastrous open border policies.

Let me correct your letter: It's "President Biden", not Mr. Biden. Fourth grade lesson, oh you must have MEANT to do that! Your disrespect of the President is noted and you will be gone.
✍ Jean, lighten up. I will not take lecturing from you. There is nothing disrespectful of my referring to Joe Biden as Mr. Biden. What is disrespectful is Mr. Biden calling President Trump a loser.Yet, I suspect you take no umbrage to this sort of juvenile taunting.
Now, let me correct your letter: it's "President Biden," not "President Biden",
Here's a fourth grade lesson for you: according to the AP stylewriting guidelines, the comma always goes within the quotation marks. See page five. Your disrespect of writing and grammar is noted!
