Berlin, 29 February 2024 | Optimal charging scenarios, efficient timetable planning and self-learning operational planning: IVU Traffic Technologies presents its new cloud-based solution IVU.data at the VDV Electric Bus Conference.

Fifteen years since its inception and the VDV Electric Bus Conference is now more topical than ever, as electromobility and autonomous driving lead global trends in public transport. With electric buses becoming increasingly widespread in urban areas, some transport operators are even planning a complete fleet conversion to e-drive systems in the near future. But for such a transition to run as efficiently and eco-friendly as possible, especially given the rising fleet numbers, relying on a high-performance, integrated IT system that maps your workflows is an absolute must.

IVU.suite does exactly that. Whether charging management or charging times, ranges or link distances, depot or opportunity charging - with IVU Traffic Technologies' IT solutions, planners and dispatchers can master highly complex tasks. Even in the standard configuration, its advanced automated features provide support for optimising your business operations and integrating e-buses seamlessly into planning, dispatch and fleet management processes.

At this year's mobility move conference, we will be demonstrating how IVU.suite can help you to generate precise demand and range forecasts, as well as steer charging processes effectively through end-to-end load, charging and depot management. IVU experts will also be showcasing our latest product IVU.data, a cloud-based solution which collects and curates operational data for all types of data analysis or even to leverage artificial intelligence (AI).

In the event's framework programme, Sven Jürgens, Department Manager for Public Transport, will be discussing how artificial intelligence can simplify depot management with the help of IVU.suite. The lecture "Don't stress - AI will handle it: Your digital depot" will be held on the first day at 16:45 in E-Bus Forum 1. Dr Ulrike Leyn, Research and Training , will also be talking about architecture and interfaces as part of the workshop ÖV-LeitmotiF-KI (7th March at 13:15, Autonomous Driving Forum).

This year's mobility move will be taking place from 5th to 7th March 2024 at the Estrel Hotel Berlin. Find IVU Traffic Technologies at Booth 25 to learn more.
