Lane Closure Advisory for the I-285/I-20 East Interchange Project
|

|
What: Weather permitting, the Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) construction partners will temporarily close interstate lanes at the locations below for the I-285/I-20 East Interchange project. The project will reconstruct the interstate system-to-system ramps at the I-285/I-20 East Interchange and add a combination of collector-distributor, or connecting lanes, and auxiliary lanes along I-20 east of the interchange and I-285 north of the interchange.
When/Where:
Monday, December 11, through Friday, December 15, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. (Daily)

Single, left-lane closure I-20 eastbound at the I-285 Interchange (MM 66.9 to MM 67.4)
Monday, December 11, through Friday, December 15, from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. (Nightly)

Alternating double, left- and right-lane closures on I-20 westbound at Panola Road (MM 71.4) to Wesley Chapel Road (MM 68.5)

Advisory: Exact time may change due to weather conditions. There may be intermittent traffic pacing and lane and ramp closures that occur within the work zone in addition to this notice. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, stay alert, and watch for workers.
