Tree Trimming Notices explanation video

We hope this one minute video will answer any questions regarding the tree trimming notices hung on Silverton residents' doors. The gist of it is -- you may trim the tree(s) marked with a ribbon so they clear 12 feet above the street, to allow our street sweeper to clean the street without clipping tree branches hanging in the right of way. There is a 10-day grace period for you to trim the trees to your liking. After this grace period, the city will trim the trees marked with a ribbon at NO COST to you. There are no fines for waiting the 10 days for the City to trim the trees.
