2024 WFF Conference Recap

Connection, education and inspiration were all on the menu as Simplot employees participated in the recent Women's Foodservice Forum (WFF) Leadership Conference in Dallas. The three-day, women-focused leadership conference brought together more than 2,500 foodservice industry professionals to experience amazing opportunities for professional and personal growth.

About 40 women and allies from Simplot attended the annual event March 25-27, with the Company contingent composed of a diverse group of employees from across the business. Attendees included an international team from Simplot's Global Food Business Group and representatives of several other different areas such as IT, Legal, Talent and Simplot's AgriBusiness division.

Under the theme of "Limitless Together," the WFF Leadership Conference offered something for everyone. Highlights included skill-building through more than 50 in-depth educational sessions; special Q&A executive panel discussions; unique opportunities to connect and develop new relationships; and dynamic and inspirational keynote speakers such as New York Times best-selling author, speaker and entrepreneur Luvvie Ajayi Jones and Kendra Scott, Founder, Chief Creative Officer and Executive Chairwoman of the eponymous jewelry company.

Simplot Transformation and Change Management Lead Lauren Schulz said her first time at WFF did not disappoint. "In partnering with 40 women and allies from Simplot, we got to connect with leadership-minded women and hear from amazing speakers," she pointed out. "It was really a memorable conference, and I have actionable steps I've taken away from it. I'm so grateful to Simplot for investing in my development and the development of so many amazing leaders."
