TEXARKANA, Texas - Texas A&M University-Texarkana and Bodcaw Bank have entered a new academic partnership that will allow full-time Bodcaw Bank employees to take courses at the university at a discounted rate. The partnership was officially launched with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on March 27th at Bodcaw Bank, 3625 Richmond Rd., Texarkana, Texas.

"Bodcaw Bank's innovation and energy are infectious," said A&M-Texarkana President Dr. Ross Alexander. "We are thrilled to serve as an educational solutions provider for this growth-minded company, as we partner to expand together."

"We are very excited about this partnership with Texas A&M - Texarkana and the opportunity it provides for our employees to continue to pursue their degrees," said Cody Deal, Bodcaw Bank Texarkana market President. "Bodcaw Bank is invested in the growth of our employees and committed to helping them achieve their goals. This partnership is just another way Bodcaw Bank can help them do so. We appreciate the commitment Dr. Alexander has shown to improving higher education in the Texarkana area and are looking forward to watching the university grow."

Under the terms of the new academic agreement all full-time employees of Bodcaw Bank will receive a tuition discount on all undergraduate, graduate, certificate, or micro-credential programs delivered in-person, online, or through a hybrid format. The agreement also waives the standard application fee. In addition to the tuition discount, any eligible Bodcaw employee who is a new student at the university will receive the First Flight Scholarship, which gives the new student their first class free if they are enrolled in at least 6 hours at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Employees wishing to take advantage of the new partnership must meet the admissions standards of the program to which they apply and must remain in good academic standing.
