Poultry Production, February 2024

Chicken meat production was 201 thousand 680 tonnes, hen egg production was 1.73 billion units

In February, hen egg production increased by 7.3%, number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 13.1%, chicken meat production increased by 14.6%, turkey meat production increased by 31.2% compared with the same month of the previous year. In January-February period, hen egg production increased by 6.8%, number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 9.4%, chicken meat production increased by 10.1%, turkey meat production increased by 32.2% compared with the same period of the previous year.

Chicken meat production, which was 203 thousand 64 tonnes in the previous month, decreased by 0.7% and became 201 thousand 680 tonnes in February.

Hen egg production, which was 1 billion 838 million 422 thousand units in the previous month, decreased by 5.7% and became 1 billion 733 million 464 thousand units in February.
