Teradata Appoints Richard Petley as EVP, Go-to-Market, International

In the new and expanded role, Petley will lead sales teams in EMEA and APJ

Teradata (NYSE: TDC) today announced that Richard Petley has taken on a newly expanded role as EVP, International. In this position, Petley will guide both the EMEA and APJ regions as one international organization to create more opportunities for Go-To-Market (GTM) synergies across the globe. With Petley at the helm, this new international model will look to accelerate Teradata's growth and provide the company with scale to build broader and deeper communities of customers across EMEA and APJ regions.

With more than 20 years of sales and GTM experience, Petley came to Teradata from Oracle, where he was Senior Vice President, Western Europe, for Oracle Cloud, and Managing Director, Oracle UK. Prior to Oracle, Petley held sales leadership positions at IBM, with consistent success in growth areas of enterprise software, SaaS and AI.
