GBI Arrests Bibb County Man Following Drug Investigation in Macon, GA

Macon, Bibb County, GA (May 8, 2024) - The GBI arrested and charged Tavish Faulks, age 32, of Bibb County, GA, with Trafficking Methamphetamine on April 29, 2024, following a joint drug investigation in Macon, Bibb County, GA. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Middle Georgia Gang Task Force (MGGTF), Peach County Sheriff's Office, and the Georgia State Patrol partnered in this investigation. Additional charges are pending.

On Monday, April 29, 2024, following a 6-month investigation, the GBI, assisted by Georgia State Patrol, conducted a traffic stop on an SUV occupied by Faulks in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. As a result of the traffic stop, GBI agents seized about 9 ounces of suspected Methamphetamine, 100 suspected Fentanyl pills, about one-half ounce of suspected Marijuana, and 2 handguns.

Following this traffic stop, law enforcement executed a Federal Search Warrant at an apartment associated with Faulks in the 5000 block of Houston Rd. in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. Two additional guns were recovered at the apartment.

Faulks was booked into the Macon-Bibb County Jail after his arrest.
