Theth’s new Zipline, the first of its kind in the area, offers a new attraction in mountain tourism

Investments in mountain tourism, mainly in areas with high attendance of local and foreign visitors, are increasing the range of attractive and exploratory activities. The Theth Valley, one of the pearls of the north of the country, where the interest of tourists is always growing, will have one more attraction for visitors to explore.

A new Zipline, the first in this area, will be available to visitors who are passionate about adventure and the rare nature of Theth, as a new opportunity to discover from the air the attractions of the Albanian Alps.

Prime Minister Edi Rama visited today the area of Theth, where the new investment is already available to visitors, giving it the appearance of a European tourist destination. Prime Minister Rama met with the local residents, among them investors with the desire to invest their income in their homeland.

"I came from Italy with my two sons, we have been living in Italy for 25 years and we came following the promises of your government. We came to repair an old house that was left to us by our grandfather" - says Mark Luka, one of them.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Rama explained that the government has always supported these investments and will continue to do so in new ways. "We are thinking of doing one more thing, to offer for a period of time zero taxes, and we will also set up a fund for financial support. The month's end, or the year's end, comes much better if one invests their savings here in Albania, than working for others in a foreign country. It also depends on how much the investment is, but what is no longer an issue today is that the road has been opened. More and more people come here, you don't need to go to Italy, England and Germany, because the Italians, Germans, English come here and pay you for all the service you offer. Plus, even those sewage channels of politics don't come here, you have the mountains that protect you against them."- said the Prime Minister.

Regarding the issue of fines imposed by the former municipality for unauthorized constructions, the prime minister explained that part of the new support measures will also be the solution to this problem. "Those fines in this area, we will cancel them for one reason only, because you did not occupy someone else's land, you just didn't have the opportunity to receive the ownership certificate. They are also part of this package and I believe that from June we will have this package ready."
