Waterline and Pavement Repairs to SPID Complete

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX- On January 25, the City initiated emergency lane closures along the westbound frontage road of South Padre Island Drive (SPID) between Airline Road and Nile Drive to perform emergency repairs to a waterline break.

The waterline repairs were completed on January 27, and contractors finished roadway repairs yesterday.

All lane closures have been removed, and impacted travel lanes are open to traffic.
