Re-watch the British Marine panel discussion on the new UK-EU trade agreement and what it means for your business

Published on: 14 January 2021

Earlier today British Marine held a successful online panel discussion designed to give you, our members, the latest information on the UK-EU trade agreement and provide an open platform to pose questions to key figures.
British Marine was joined by experts from industry and government departments who provided an overview of what the deal means for imports and exports, the new Rules of Origin requirements and how the notified bodies required as part of the product certification process have now changed.
This interactive session saw 92 members attend and quiz the panel on customs and gain a greater understanding of commodity codes, the current position on VAT paid status and the different types of paperwork which will be required for businesses trading internationally.
