Ambassador of Belarus S.Terentiev meets acting Minister of Energy and Petroleum of Sudan
23 November 2022November 22, 2022 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Sudan concurrently, Sergei Terentiev, met with acting. Minister of Energy and Petroleum of the Republic of Sudan, Mohammed Abdullah Mahmoud. The meeting took place as part of the Ambassador's trip to Khartoum to participate in the transfer of Belarusian humanitarian aid to Sudan.
During the meeting, topical issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed with an emphasis on preparations for the 5th meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Sudanese Commission on Cooperation.
The possibilities of building up Belarusian-Sudanese cooperation in the fields of energy and agriculture, as well as through the chambers of commerce and industry and business associations of the two countries were noted.
The Sudanese side expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Republic of Belarus.
