Rep. Wild Joins Gold Star Families, Ukraine Caucus to Call for Immediate Congressional Aid

Today, Congresswoman Susan Wild joined the Congressional Ukraine Caucus and Gold Star families to honor the lives of fallen soldiers and call on Speaker Johnson to bring critical Ukrainian aid to the House floor for a vote.

"It is past time to pass this aid and send an unmistakable message that we will not waver in our support of the Ukrainian people," said Rep. Wild. "This is not an abstract discussion about geo-politics - the lives of loved ones are at stake. In memory of Andrew and Lance and on behalf of the Ukrainian American community in my district and across our nation, I call on Speaker Johnson to finally do what's right and let the people's representatives have this vote."

Rep. Wild has consistently called for aid to Ukraine, which has been repeatedly blocked by extreme politicians in Congress. The Greater Lehigh Valley includes one of the largest and most vibrant Ukrainian American communities in the United States. Rep. Wild remains steadfast in her commitment to pressure House leadership to allow for a vote on the aid package and stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian community in her district, across the country, and abroad.
