City operations updates in the wake of last weekend’s winter storm

Solid waste collection canceled, bus routes starting late

Here are a few important updates regarding City operations for Tuesday, January 18 in the wake of this past weekend's winter storm:

• Due to the condition of many secondary roads in our city and the forecasted black ice in our area tomorrow morning due to tonight's cold temperatures, tomorrow morning, all scheduled solid waste collection will be postponed. If you are scheduled for pickup, please place your bin at the curb and our team will service your location as soon as possible.

• All Municipal Court cases scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8:30 am and 10:30 am have been cancelled. Defendants in those cases will receive a rescheduling notice by mail.

• All City bus routes will start late tomorrow morning, beginning service at 10:30 a.m.

• City Hall and all City offices will be open for business as usual at 8 a.m.
