Geo-target issued for appeal to find man missing from the Mid North Coast

Police have issued a geo-targeted message as they appeal for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Mid North Coast.

Michael Maxwell, aged 71, was last seen about 9am today (Friday 27 January 2023), at his home in Woombah.

When he could not be located, he was reported missing to officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District, who commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age and medical conditions that may make him appear confused or disoriented. He has no money or phone with him.

Mr Maxwell is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a bald top and receding hair on the sides. He is believed to be wearing a white shirt, white shorts, and black thongs.

Anyone who sees Mr Maxwell or has any information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Coffs Harbour Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
