Giovanni Raspini Launches Latest Cocktail Collection

04 Nov 2024

Bright coloured stones and striking stylistic richness are the key elements of Cocktail, the new limited edition by Giovanni Raspini.

Cocktail is inspired by the quest that previously underpinned Superstones, the brand's groundbreaking latest exhibition. Giovanni Raspini has opted, for the limited edition, for beautiful natural stones, gems and pearls.

The collection, available from the beginning of November, consists of a large necklace, a ring, a bracelet and a pair of pendant earrings, all limited to 100 pieces each.

Each creation is crafted in sterling silver, using the lost - wax cast technique, and then burnished. The designs are made of luminous spherules and delicate ramifications, several bezels of different shapes and sizes, also crafted in silver, and inserted into the base to accommodate the precious stones.

Cocktail is a real triumph of colours, cuts, shapes and types. Incredible colours replace the typical figurative and chiaroscuro elements, creating a continuous path and dialogue between quartz, agate, natural freshwater pearls, chalcedony, siamite, mother-of-pearl and other gems. Cabochon, marquise, square yoke, mushroom and cushion cuts enhance a colour palette of marvellous hues that elegantly and seamlessly transition from warm to cool tones. The large necklace features as many as 30 different stones.

Giovanni Raspini says,

"With this new limited edition collection, we wanted to create something spectacular, very bright and rich in designs, something that could surprise even ourselves. We are interested in exploring into the world of gems, with their beautiful colours, searching for different combinations and absolute brilliance. But we also value the dialogue with the great jewellers of the past, those who knew how to use stones with imagination and great skill, so that the history of jewellery metaphorically runs through these creations of ours".
