Town of Davie Partners With Love Is On The Streets for a Donation Drive to Help the Homeless

DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie in partnership with Love Is On The Streets, Inc. is hosting a donation drive to help the homeless. Donations are being collected now through April 24, 2024, and will help provide toiletries and essential items to individuals suffering from homelessness.

Items can be dropped off Monday through Sunday during the following times at the locations listed below. The Town will only accept items until April 24, 2024.

Drop-off Locations:

Monday - Thursday

  • Town Clerk's Office (Building C): 8800 SW 36th Street | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Davie Police Department Lobby: 1230 South Nob Hill Road | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Davie Fire Rescue Department Main Lobby: 6901 Orange Drive | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Friday

  • Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday

  • Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Items being accepted:

  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • Jackets
  • Non-perishable food
  • Soap
  • Toothpaste
  • Dental Floss
  • Deodorant
  • Mouthwash
  • Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Toiletries
  • Blankets

Love Is On The Streets, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a focus on transforming lives and helping individuals who are facing homelessness. Their mission is to restore hope, faith and dignity to people living on the streets by providing food, water, clothes, showers, housing, mentorship and more.
