Jemez Springs, NM - The National Park Service is celebrating National Park Week from April 20 through April 28. The theme for Sunday, April 28 is Arts in Parks and Valles Caldera is hosting some special activities to help foster your inner artist. Come join a ranger at 10 am for a landscape photography workshop, at 11 am for a haiku workshop, and 1 pm for a spring crafting activity.

We also invite everyone to come out and create some art in the park. You may just happen across another artist in the process. If you do create some art, please stop by and show off your work with a ranger.

Superintendent Jorge Silva-BaƱuelos said, "With such majestic beauty and nature on display, Valles Caldera is a wonderful place for artists of every medium to come and find inspiration. We hope to see a lot of artists come out to Valles Caldera and continue the adding to the region's rich artistic history."
