AVECC Continues Student Scholarship Support

The Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative Corporation continued a long tradition this week of supporting University of the Ozarks students through scholarships. Representatives from AVECC made a $3,500 donation to the University's Wallace M. Milton Scholarship Fund on March 27. Those attending the presentation included (from left), Audra Kimball, director of foundations and major grants; Lori McBee, vice president for advancement and alumni engagement; Brandon Fisher, director of technology and communications for AVECC; and Tony Wilson, communications coordinator for AVECC. Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative has been supporting scholarships at U of O since 1975. The Wallace M. Milton Scholarship was established in the late 1970s in memory of the former corporation manager. The scholarship is awarded to an Ozarks student from the AVECC region.
