Minister of Employment and Labour, Ms. Nomakhosazana Meth, will tomorrow, Friday, 6 September 2024, hand over the NEDLAC 30-Year Report to the Presidency at the 29th Annual National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC) Summit in Sandton, Johannesburg.
NEDLAC, a key entity of the Department, is a vehicle by which Government, labour, business, and community organisations seek to cooperate through negotiation and consensus on economic, labour, and development matters, as well as related challenges facing the country.
The Summit will be attended by esteemed local and International guests and organisations such as the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
NEDLAC celebrates 30 Year Anniversary since its inception in 1994, under the theme; "Celebrating 30 Years of social dialogue and planning for the future."
