Finland's Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will attend a meeting of Nordic and Baltic foreign ministers in the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) forum in Visby, Sweden, on 9-10 April.
The foreign ministers will discuss current affairs in foreign and security policy, such as Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine, support for Ukraine and topical NATO matters.
"The Nordic and Baltic countries are our closest partners. It is very important that we regularly discuss topical foreign and security policy issues," Minister Valtonen says.
This year's meeting will be chaired by Sweden, the current coordinating country of NB8 cooperation.
