On October 7, the "integrated big data platform-based smart coal-fired power plant" project of Jiujiang Power Company affiliated to the Jiangxi Branch of China Shenhua was listed among the 2023 Big Data Demonstration Projects of Jiangxi Province.

The company's "one control and five centers" integrated big data platform integrates the data of various business systems. Through collecting and pooling information of key factors, it has effectively integrated the data, and then sorts, analyzes and processes the collected and aggregated data to provide the four key capabilities of data stratification, data domain, data classification and data distribution. From the five perspectives of operation monitoring, equipment diagnosis, risk early warning, security monitoring, and fuel supervision, it promotes the combination of integrated digitalization and the real economy. In the future, it will explore new modes for providing and acquiring services, comprehensively improve the information service architecture, streamline the business processes of power plants, and strengthen the full sharing and utilization of information resources. It will also use big data thinking to integrate capabilities in data aggregation, processing, governance and analysis, so as to build a big data platform featuring an advanced architecture, reliable technology, comprehensive functions, convenient use and simple operation and maintenance.

The platform combines big data, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and other technologies with safe production, which can continuously improve t operation monitoring and adjustment as well as equipment health assessment, laying a solid foundation for the operational safety and reliability of generation units.
