6.Countermeasures:
TCC owns 40% of the joint venture with OYAK. As TCC believes in "people as
the first priority", we have been putting the greatest effort in helping
our colleagues, their families, our suppliers and clients in Turkey.

The twin earthquakes are the biggest earthquakes to occur in Turkey in
nearly 100 years and is considered as one of the major disasters in the
world. TCC Group activated "Employee Care Plan" immediately to assist and
arrange care for employees and employees' families. TCC has sent 100 units
of emergency kits using special couriers to Turkey.

As for the three cement plants impacted by the earthquake, the one closest
to the earthquake center is about 200km away. The basic structure of the
three plants has not been affected by the earthquake.

However, due to the power outages in the whole region, three cement plants
had to stop operations. After a full inspection of the equipment circuits,
one of the plants have resumed operations.

The twin earthquakes have not cause material impact on TCC Group's finances.
TCC continues to help and support the earthquake relief in Turkey. TCC has
proactively contacted The Turkish Trade Office in Taipei and hope to provide
the much needed supplies for the Turkish people in the harsh winter.
