(Woodland, CA) - On September 28, 2021, the Yolo County Board of Supervisors (Board) approved the initial American Rescue Plan (ARP) Expenditure Plan, including $3,000,000 for projects under the Food Security priority category. With the first round complete, Yolo County seeks additional proposals from the community for food security, nutrition expansion, or food system enhancements. The total pool of funding for this round is $1,200,000. Beginning today, the County will accept applications for projects serving any one or more of three priority populations:
Projects with matching funds or contributions will be prioritized, and partnerships are encouraged. Applications must include the following criteria for consideration:
The application period closes on September 23, 2022. Applications will be reviewed in September and early October. The Board will select second-round projects in October, and project funding will begin in November 2022.
